Very clean and the food I give it 5 stars also

This place is horrible. The food came out cold on a skillet. I sent it back and it came back cold!! The servers are rude and seem like they don't care.

Service was slow. Tortilla soup was bland and had no chicken. Husband ordered a chicken dish with a caper sauce. It had TONS of capers and crushed tomatoes. The very small piece of chicken was dry and tasteless. Margs were good.

We will never order from this place again. We ordered take out. Was told food will be ready in 30 minutes. We showed up 30 minutes later. We been sitting here for 45 minutes and still no food and the customer service is horrible!

I have been here several times, and now today I ordered to go. The food has been perfect every time including today, the food was ready for me to pick up right on time and the entire place was packed I was very surprised! Overall best Mexican restaurant by us and very good priced! I will definitely be ordering ToGo here again.

My favorite Mexican dish is chile relleno and not a lot of Mexican restaurants serve it. I googled it and we came here only because they did! 1st time in restaurant since covid and was nervous but they did great job of table spacing and masks. Food and drinks were delicious and great service!

Good food, you have to try the warm salsa. It's heated up and spicy.

I ordered curbside and called when I got there and let them know what parking spot I was in. After 15 minutes and 3 cars coming and going after me, I called them and they had forgotten about me. The person who came out said they didn't know I was there. So I waited 20 minutes for my curbside order and my food was cold, and I barely got an apology. The food was not worth the wait, borracho beans were gross. Also the parking lot was packed so I doubt they were following any kind of social distancing rules. It was probably COVID central in there.

Uncrowded place to eat at. Loved the food. Theonly thin i had a problem with is that the tea tasted as if it was out for about accouple of days. It wasnt fresh tea. But other than that it was awesome

Awesome! Dario was great - prompt, energetic and friendly. Beef fajitas were the best I've had in SA! Really pretty place too - elegant without being too formal. Exercising precautions during COVID-19 - masks, gloves, paper menus, and it looks like they're doing a good job of sanitizing tables in between guests. Only thing that wasn't amazing was the salsa (taste and texture was more like slightly spicy pizza sauce than salsa) but everything else made up for it. I appreciate you guys and will be back!

Food is usually good and the service friendly. Sadly sometimes you will be served cold fajitas as I have been twice now. A shame because they charge nearly 18 dollars for their fajitas.

Horrible Pablano sauce. It tasted of Italian marinara. The hot sauce there is wonderful, too bad you have to follow up with a meal.

I wish there was still a location closer to me, but the one on Bandera closed down. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Our server (Ryan) was awesome. We will be going back again.

1st experience here tonight. Horrible service. Food came out cold. Waitress couldnt get the tickets split right after 2 times. Didn't ask if we wanted water or needed anything else ezcept taking the main order. Also noticed the waitress standing around doing nothing but talking to her co workers. I was with a group of 6 and we spent about 2 hours here and 1 hour of it we weren't even attended to. The manager brought my food out 20 minutes before rest of table and i let it sit and get cold and asked the waitress why they did this. She then took the food said fresh food is coming and when it came all our food was soggy and nasty. We didnt complain once to anyone there but me and my family will never come to this disgusting place again. I dont ever normally leave hard reviews but I am just upset witj my 1st experience avoid this place at all costs.. Better to just go to taco cabana.

Great food, fast service. Our waiter was considerate and handled a large party without a hitch. The salsa is a little odd, a rather thick tomato sauce with a good flavor. This location is good for meeting friends, parties, celebrations, but a bit loud for a quiet dinner.

Have been coming here for 10 years and nothing has changed. Food is amazing, service was outstanding and overall just a great experience. Our server, Casey, was just delightful and always smiling and laughing with you and nothing was too much of a task for her. We will definitely be asking for her again when we return.

Big disappointment.. this place was highly recommended but failed. Chicken chimichanga had raw chicken, steak chimichanga was salty. The decor is GREAT, service ok, portions good, but food failed.

I am very grateful to Salsalitos for staying open during the Covid 19 Pandemic. I was able to just drive up, place my order over the phone, and have my Fajitas brought to the car! Everything was presented organized and clean... they did not skimp on anything! Great Job!!!

First time eating here and the food was wonderful. Dario was our server and made our dining experience amazing with his hospitality and suggestions!

The evening begun with being seated at a dirty table and the waitress wiping the crumbs into our laps. For food we started out with the chips and salsa. The salsa is like a spicy spaghetti sauce. The green salsa however, was spicy and quite flavorful. When they brought the food there was a hair in the rice and the fajitas were just barely warm. They brought some hairless rice and threw the fajitas on a hot skillet without delay. The fajitas were very plain. But the fresh tortillas and guacamole that came with it were outstanding. The chicken enchiladas were made with fajita meat, which was just OK. Overall, not very impressed.

Great chips and salsa! The chips are thin and crunchy and never stale. That is always the worst. The seafood enchiladas are amazing with the sauce they add on top. The refried beans are always the best texture with the best seasoning. Clean restaurant with great service. Get there early because if you happen to go for a later dinner, no doubt you will be waiting a while. The margaritas are excellent as well!

Fresh hot food. Great waiter. Had a large group and the orders were perfect. Totally satisfied.

Kenny (Kenneth) was the best server I've ever had, to date. I can't say enough about their hard work and accommodation. My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised and left the place still talking about Kenny. Also the food is pretty good, too. :)

Love the food and atmosphere, the chicken/spinach enchiladas are my favorite. The waitresses are always attentive and don't mind engaging in conversation.

Nice place, good job with the social distancing thing. The chips and queso were good. The entres we had were really good as well. The tamale plate and a chicken fajita chimichanga. The only question I have is about the "salsa" that was served with the chips. For a place as nice as this, with the menu this place has it is a shame that the salsa is little more than ketchup with minimal spices. To be honest a Tex-Mex restaurant should be able to put better salsa than that on the table. I mean Bill Millers has better salsa. Huge shout out to our waiter Tony!!! He did a great job! What in the world is the salsa???? The Mole enchiladas had day old chicken flavor and the temperature was cool. The only thing I can say is the tea and beans are good.

Had the lunch special tortilla soup plus a beef or chicken taco. The hot sauce that came with the complimentary chips was thick and on the good side of spicy. The tortilla soup had a thick broth, with sliced avocado slices, melted cheese and a good amount of chicken strips. The beef taco rounded off the meal. I also tried the green chili sauce which was a tad spicier than the red but also delicious. Great service was provided by Sarah.

I usually order the enchiladas verde plate and can say that it is absolutely yummy. It comes with lots of chips and salsa. The prices are a bit high but otherwise fair. Overall, a good place to go for Mexican food, but make sure to double check your order because they frequently forget to pack everything.
